Today I am going to share the homework correction quoted from my JLPT N3 course!
The student’s sentence is not correct. Can you find the mistake?

[My correction]
札幌には11月から3月までよく雪が降る。
→札幌には11月から3月にかけてよく雪が降る。
In Sapporo, it often snows between November and March.
〜から〜にかけて indicates a range with a vague beginning and end, where the condition may be intermittent.
〜から〜まで indicates the entire span between the two points, with the condition continuing throughout that time.
In this sentence, にかけて is used because some days it snows and some days it does not.
e.g.
祭(まつ)りは2月3日から5日まで行(おこな)われる。
The festival will take place from February 3 to 5.
さくらは3月から4月にかけて見(み)られます。
You can approximately see cherry blossoms from March to April.
I hope my explanation helps you. 😊
