[Question]
What’s the difference?
[My Reply]
JP;
EN;
You use potential-form for things you can work on to make it happen and normal masu-form for things you can’t.
potential-form+ように
=I’ll make the effort.
I want to study hard and become a doctor.
normal masu-form+ように
=It’s not something I’m trying to do. I just expect it to happen naturally.
e.g. I wish for my child to become a doctor.
I hope my answer helps you.😊
In the JLPT course, you can ask me any questions as much as you want.
