[JLPT grammar] 〜がする is used that you are not certain of something but feel it to be true.

Today I am going to share the homework correction quoted from my JLPT N3 course!
The student’s sentence is not correct. Can you find the mistake?

[Student’s sentence]

[My correction]

This chocolate is sweet.

〜がする is not used for something that can be determined immediately after seeing it or for direct determinations such as something being delicious or sweet.

This curry is spicy.

This curry is delicious.

I smell curry from the house next door.
*You are not certain of something but feel it to be true.

I hope my explanation helps you. 😊
