ねえ、               ない？
Hey, why don’t you…/how about…?

This phrase is used when casually inviting friends to do something.

 

Practice;
Simply change the verb to the nai-form to create a phrase!

1. カフェに入(はい)る: go into a cafe

→ねえ、カフェに入らない？
Hey, why don’t we go into a cafe?

2. いっしょにゲームする: play games together
→ねえ、いっしょにゲームしない？
Hey, do you want to play a game together?

3. カラオケに行(い)く: go to karaoke
→ねえ、カラオケに行かない？
Hey, how about going to karaoke?
