Verb+きる

=To do something completely, to finish something.

=食べきる

= To eat everything, to finish eating.

 

Since the sentence is saying that the food is too much to finish, we need the potential-form, negative:

→ 食べきれない

〜きる dictionary-form

〜きれる potential-form

きれない potential-form, negative
