(駅で)
A 「それでは、おげんきで。」
B 「はい、(4 また)会いましょう。」
At the train station:
A: “Well then, take care.”
B: “Yes, let’s meet again.”
また means “again” or “once more.”
また会いましょう is a polite and common way to say “Let’s meet again” when parting.
Other examples of how また is used when saying goodbye:
じゃあ、また
– “Well then, see you again.” (casual)
また明日(あした)
– “See you tomorrow.”
また来週(らいしゅう)
– “See you next week.”
またね
– “See you later.” (casual)
Other choices:
もう
– already
まだ
– still / not yet
では
– well then, in this case, (used at the beginning of a sentence)
I hope this explanation helps! 😊
