[Answer]
ここから駅まで 2 キロ(4 ぐらい)です。
It’s about 2 kilometers from here to the station.
ぐらい means “about,” “around,” or “approximately.”
We use it when we don’t know the exact number.
In this sentence:
You’re not saying it’s exactly 2 kilometers.
You want to say it’s around 2 kilometers.
So, ぐらい is the best choice.
By the way:
くらい has the same meaning as ぐらい.
ぐらい is just a little more common when speaking.
Other Choices:
しか
= “only”
Must be used with a negative verb.
× 2キロしかです。
〇 2キロしかありません。
ごろ
= used for time, not distance
e.g.
3時(じ)ごろに会(あ)いましょう。
Let’s meet around 3 o’clock.
など
= “etc.” or “and so on”
e.g.
パンやケーキなどを食(た)べました。
I ate things like bread and cake.
I hope this explanation helps! 😊
