病気の子を見ていると、代われる(__)代わってやりたいと思う。

病気の子を見ていると、代われる(3 ものなら)代わってやりたいと思う。
When I see the sick child, I wish I could take their place if it were possible.
〜ものなら
= If it were possible, I would ~ (even though it’s not realistic)
Verb [Potential-form] + ものなら (〜たい)
代われる+ものなら(代わってやりたい)
In this sentence, the speaker feels heartbroken seeing the sick child.
「代われるものなら、代わってあげたい」
= If I could take their place (even though I can’t), I would.
That’s why “ものなら” is the best choice.

= strong denial
〜ものの
= “although”
〜ものだから
= “because” (often used to explain reasons in a soft tone)
