I didn’t want to take this course at first because I thought it was expensive and unnecessary, but I finally came back to it because I was struggling to speak Japanese and realized it only costs a cup of coffee per day (so I stopped getting the coffee xD). Chika-sensei is very nice as always (I took her N4 preparation course last year). She is very detailed in her feedback on my homework, with some of the mistakes I didn’t even realize when I spoke. I do wonder how she could find the time to respond to every student daily. She even remembers which anime I like even though I only mentioned it once! The difficulty level of the exercises also increases at a challenging but manageable pace. Even though Japanese is not a tonal language, I never realized how delicate the pitch accent is and how easy it is to make mistakes (and how difficult it is to pronounce these accents correctly). I highly recommend this extra cup of coffee to anyone who wants to improve their Japanese speaking skills!
