〜すぎる too much/many, overly, excessively

 

[verb masu-form](remove ます)+すぎる

[i-adjective](remove い)+すぎる

[na-adjective/noun]+すぎる

 

Incorrect; すしを食(た)べすぎて、しあわせです。

Correct; すしをたくさん食(た)べて、しあわせです。

I am happy to eat a lot of sushi.

 

おさけをのみすぎて、きもちわるい。

I feel sick from drinking too much alcohol.
