[JLPT grammar] “the cat will become beautiful” is きれいなねこになります?

Today I am going to share the Q&A quoted from my JLPT N5 course!

[Question]

きれいな猫(ねこ)になります。

Is this sentence OK?
I wanted to say “the cat will become beautiful”.

[My Reply]

きれいな猫になります means, “I will be a beautiful cat.”

The subject of this sentence is omitted.
The subject can be omitted when the subject is 「わたし」.

So, it must be わたし(subject)はきれいな猫になります。
“I will be a beautiful cat.”

If you want to say “the cat will become beautiful”.
この猫(subject)はきれいになります。

I hope my answer helps you. 😊
