買っちゃう(contraction)
＝買ってしまう
〜てしまう：完了(かんりょう complete)、後悔(こうかい regret)
買っとく(contraction)
＝買っておく
〜ておく：準備(じゅんび preparation)
e.g.
ケーキを買っちゃった。(past tense of ちゃう)
＝ケーキを買ったことを後悔している。
I regret buying the cake. I wish I had not bought it.
ケーキを買っといた。(past tense of とく)
＝パーティーがあるから、そのためにケーキを買った。
We have a party and I bought a cake for it.
