[JLPT grammar] See the verb to decide whether to use に or で to indicate location

Today I am going to share the homework correction quoted from my JLPT course!
The student’s sentence is not correct. Can you find the mistake?

[Student’s sentence]

図書館で本がたくさんあります。

*としょかんでほんがたくさんあります。

[My correction]

図書館で本がたくさんあります。
→図書館本がたくさんあります。
There are many books in the library.

×[place]であります
◎[place]あります

に indicates the location of existence.
[place]  [existence verb]
Existence verbs: います, あります, 住(す)みます, etc.

で indicates the place at which an action or event takes place.
[place] [action verb]
Action verbs: 食(た)べます, 飲(の)みます, 働きます, 勉強(べんきょう)します, etc.

See the verb to decide whether to use に or で to indicate location.

e.g.
図書館田中先生(たなかせんせい)がいます。
There is Tanaka-sensei in the library.

図書館勉強します。
I study in the library.

I hope my explanation helps you. 😊
