〜たら？
Why don‘t you…?

“〜たら?” is a way of suggesting an action to someone you‘re close to.

 

Let’s practice:

・わからないなら、先生(せんせい)に聞(き)いたら？
If you don‘t understand, why don‘t you ask your teacher?

 

・疲(つか)れているみたいだね。今日(きょう)はもう帰(かえ)ったら？
You look tired. Why don‘t you go home for the day?

 

・もっと大(おお)きい声(こえ)で話(はな)したら？全然(ぜんぜん)聞こえないよ。
Why don‘t you speak louder? I can’t hear you at all.
