Great course for getting practice speaking Japanese. I’m trying to learn Japanese on my own. I have tried different textbooks some with audio, different apps, Anki, watching Japanese media, but the problem was I didn’t have anyone to speak with. Speaking Japanese is obviously the goal of learning the language so I was missing a huge part of the learning puzzle. This course fit perfectly into not only my studies but also my budget. It is a great value for money. I purchased the course about two months before my trip to Japan. Taking this course gave me confidence to use the Japanese I knew while in Japan. Chika Sensei was very understanding of me taking a break from my assignments during my vacation. When I got home, I picked back up where I left off. She also let me know that the course gives you lifetime access to the material and there was no rush. Chika Sensei is very reliable and a positive teacher. She gives corrections to help you sound like a native Japanese speaker. There are things she has taught me that I couldn’t have learned without her guidance. One thing in particular is how words run together and should be said without pauses between them. This kind of nuance is hard to learn without a Japanese teacher. You will also learn more natural phrasing as opposed to textbook or business speak. I definitely plan to take more courses with Chika Sensei.
