32 days ago, I made the choice to pursue learning Japanese here with Chika Sensei. For years I had been learning tiny nuggets of Japanese here and there through Duolingo. It took me a while to understand that what Duolingo offered was incomplete and not enough. Originally, I was learning purely because I wanted to speak Japanese and nothing more. As time went on, I understood I could do more and learn more. I decided to pursue Japanese far more seriously with the intention to apply it to real life career goals that could actually pave a road to success. I was recommended here by a peer in my college classes and I wasn’t disappointed. Not at all. 32 days ago, I made the choice on a tight budget to invest in the All-in-one JLPT N5 courses. Since then, not only have I been learning more about the language than I have in years of Duolingo… but I have also received better support from ちか先生 than I have in a while. It has eased anxiety levels while working on the CNC shop floor by focusing on something promising for the future. My aim is to eventually learn N1 Japanese, and I can think of no place better to embark on that journey than here with ちか先生。 ちか先生、ありがとうございます。Best wishes and I look forward to continuing learning with you.
