[JLPT N2] Pointless question: [

I don’t have time to answer such a pointless question.

Konnichiwa, it’s Chika Sensei.

Today, I’m sharing a practice question for JLPT prep.

This one’s for pre-advanced learners (JLPT N2)!

Can you choose the correct answer?

[Practice Question]

[Answer]

I don’t have time to answer such a pointless question.

= “worthless,” “pointless,” “silly.”

It means there is no value in discussing or answering it.

In this sentence:

It implies the question is so low-level or foolish that it’s a waste of time to answer.

So, くだらない is the best choice.

✖ Other choices:

きたない

= “dirty.”

= “sloppy,” “untidy.”

= “must be; no doubt.” Not used to modify 質問 here.

I hope this explanation helps! 😊
