Today, I’m sharing a practice question for JLPT prep.
This one’s for beginners (JLPT N5)!
Can you choose the correct answer?
[Practice Question]
あのえいがは（＿＿）見ました。
*あのえいがは（＿＿）みました。
1 まだ
2 もう
3 これから
4 とても

あのえいがは（2 もう）見ました。
I have already watched that movie.
Look at the verb:
見ました
watched
= It’s past tense
もう means “already.”
We use it when the action is finished.
Structure:
もう ＋ verb【masu past-form (ました)】
→ “already did ~”
もう ＋ 〜ました (Already did ~)
→ もう 見ました
= I already watched it.
So, もう is the best choice.
✖︎Other Choices:
1. まだ
= “not yet”
We usually use it with negative.
まだ見ていません。
(I haven’t watched it yet.)
3. これから
= “from now / starting now” (future)
4. とても
= “very” (doesn’t fit here)
