[Answer]
I can’t possibly accept such an expensive gift.
= “I really can’t do ~” / “I shouldn’t do ~”
It implies: “Physically I can do it, but my conscience or social manners say I shouldn’t.”
In this sentence:
Can you receive a gift?
Yes, physically you can.
But it’s expensive, so you feel it’s not right to accept it.
That is why we say:
いただくわけにはいきません。
= I really shouldn’t accept it.
= I can’t possibly accept it.
So, いきません is the best choice.
✖ Other Choices:
→None of these can follow
I hope this explanation helps! 😊
