Can you choose the correct answer?

わたしは新しいとけい(__)ほしいです。

*わたしは あたらしい とけい(__)ほしいです。

わたしは新しいとけい(3 が)ほしいです。

I want a new watch.

 

 

ほしい

= want

 

When you want an object, we use this pattern:

[Thing]  ほしい

= I want [thing].

 

とけい(watch)+  + ほしい

→ とけいほしい

= I want a watch.

 

So,  is the best choice.

 

 

✖ Other choices:

に・か・と are not used to mark “the thing you want” with ほしい.
