～によると、……（伝聞 でんぶん hearsay）
〜よると is used to indicate from whom or where the information is obtained.
Therefore, hearsay expressions should be used in the second sentence.
～によると、… そうです
～によると、… らしいです
～によると、… ということです

天気予報(てんきよほう)によると、あしたは雨(あめ)が降(ふ)るそうです。
According to the weather forecast, it will rain tomorrow.
ラジオによると、さっき東京(とうきょう)で地震(じしん)があったらしいです。
According to the radio, there was an earthquake in Tokyo earlier.
