[JLPT grammar] 来月、国に帰るかな→Who’s going back?

来月、国に帰るかな。

→来月、国に帰ろうかな。
I think I’ll go back to my country next month.

＝私(わたし)は帰りたいけど、帰るかまだ決(き)めていない。
volitional-form+かな：自分のしたいことで、
帰る(dictionary-form)かな
＝誰(だれ)かが帰るかもしれない
dictionary-form+かな：推量(すいりょう)
自分(じぶん)がするかしないか考(かんが)えるときは、vol

帰ろう(volitional-form)かな
＝I want to go home, but not sure yet.
volitional-form+かな：The speaker wants to do that, but am not sure if he should yet.
帰る(dictionary-form)かな
＝Someone might go home.
dictionary-form+かな：When the speaker wonders about something.
When you express what you are going to do or your desire to do something, use [volitional-form] with かな.
