Today, I am going to share a homework correction from my JLPT Course! The student’s sentence is not correct. Can you find the mistake?
[Student’s sentence]
Kinou wa eiga o mitari, kaimono shimashita.

[My correction]
Kinou wa eiga o mitari, kaimono shitari shimashita.
Yesterday, I watched a movie and did some shopping.
When you want to list two or more activities as examples, use the pattern 「〜たり〜たりする」. This involves repeating 「〜たり」 for each activity and ending the list with the verb 「する」.
Examples:
Shuumatsu wa sanpo shitari, ryouri shitari shimasu.
On weekends, I go for walks and cook, among other activities.
Today, I went to the library and studied at a café, among other things.
I hope my explanation helps you.😊
