Konnichiwa, it’s Chika Sensei.

Today, I’m sharing a practice question for JLPT prep.

This one’s for intermediate learners (JLPT N3)!

Can you choose the correct answer?

[Practice Question]

[Answer]

By visiting your home many times, I became close with Smith-san.

= “many times, frequently.”

It’s an adverb that describes repeating the same action many times.

The pattern is:

たびたび (many times) + 行く (visit) + うちに (during that period)

→ Your relationship changed little by little.

You visited many times, and over that period, you gradually became close.

That’s why たびたび is the perfect fit.

✖ Other choices:

“entirely, completely” or “plump.”

“soon, in the near future.”

“one by one, about every single thing.”

I hope this explanation helps! 😊
