[Common Mistakes] Don’t use 〜てから when two actions always happen in a specific order

Today, I am going to share a homework correction from my JLPT Course! The student’s sentence is not correct. Can you find the mistake?
[Student’s sentence]
ふたを開けてから、ジュースを飲みます。
*ふたをあけてから、ジュースをのみます。

[My correction]
ふたを開けてから、ジュースを飲みます。
→ ふたを開けて、ジュースを飲みます。
I open the lid and drink the juice.
If you don’t open the lid, you can’t drink the juice. In Japanese, when two actions always happen in a specific order, you should not use 〜てから.
〜て can be used just to express an order, so it is more versatile than 〜てから.
Examples:
ドアを開けて、部屋に入ります。
I open the door and enter the room.
(I have to open the door to get into the room.)
×ドアを開けてから、部屋に入ります。
