おとしよりが交差点を渡るのを手伝ってあげましょう。
I’m not sure if を would be the correct particle for あげる grammar.
I was going for “Let’s help the elderly cross the street/intersection”.

*交差点 こうさてん
渡る わたる
手伝う てつだう

Don’t think of を as a particle of ～てあげる
The sentence particle doesn’t change with or without ～てあげる.

～を手伝う to help…

おとしよりが交差点を渡るのを手伝う
I help the elderly cross the street.

おとしよりが交差点を渡るのを手伝いましょう。
Let’s help the elderly cross the street.

おとしよりが交差点を渡るのを手伝ってあげましょう。
Let’s help the elderly cross the street. (with kindness/for the elderly’s favor)

There is no particle that changes depending on ～てあげる, different particles are used in different sentences, which confuses you.
