[JLPT grammar] 〜そうportion is conjugated the same way as na-adjectives.

Today I am going to share the homework correction quoted from my JLPT N3 course!
The student’s sentence is not correct. Can you find the mistake?

[Student’s sentence]

おもしろそう映画ですね、見たいです。

*おもしろそうえいがですね、みたいです。

[My correction]

おもしろそう映画ですね、見たいです。
→おもしろそうな映画ですね、見たいです。
It sounds like an interesting movie. I’d like to see it.

〜そう portion is conjugated the same way as na-adjectives.

〜そう|だ plain-style
〜そう|じゃない plain-style, negative
〜そう|です polite-style
〜そう|じゃありません polite-style, negative
〜そう|な[Noun] noun modification

おもしろそう[映画=Noun]

Here are some examples:
・やさしそうな先生(せんせい)
He/she seems to be a kind and gentle teacher.

・たいへんそうな仕事(しごと)
It seems like a tough job.

・高(たか)そうな服(ふく)
These clothes look expensive.

I hope my explanation helps you.😊
